SHORT BIO AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER AS AN ARTIST AND DESIGNER

Hi! My name is Nick and I am 3d artist and industrial designer. I've graduated Stroganov Moscow State University of Art and Design in 2012. I've been working as a designer for 10 years since then and as an artist for over than 15 years. Now I would like to focus on a art, making 3d assets and environments for games, cinematics or commercials.

I am eager to create awesome 3d art and I would consider taking part in your interesting project where my artistic and 3d skills could be applied.

My hard skills: modeling, texturing, sculpting, handpainting and drawing, hipoly to lowpoly pipeline, all sorts of file transfer between different software platforms, photogrammetry and retopology. Base scene set dressing and lighting scenes in UE.

I use following software: Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Unreal Engine, Twinmition, Solidworks, Photoshop, Corel and Figma.

2006 - 2010: technical and exterior visualizations for architectural magazine in Living Lifestyle Group

2010: created production 3d model for ArchiP architectural award statuette.

2010 - 2012 worked as an industrial designer for i-Lyte stage light equipment manufacturing company.

2012: designed several music and sound equipment items as a freelance designer for Nordfolk.

2013 – 2018 worked as a lead designer in a wrist watch production company for several european watch brands. Was responsible for full design pipeline, prototyping and 3D-printing pre-production items, product visualization and photography.

2018 - 2021 – freelance product photography and product visualization. Was involved into a project of making a huge collection of 3d stereogramms for ophthalmology. Worked as a 3d artist for ironworks company to visualize a steel plant production process and catalogue of metallurgical equipment. Designed a few sets of custom fork and brake calipers conversion kits for motorcycles in CAD 3D software.

2021 – taking professional courses of Maya, Unreal Engine and Blender to boost 3D skills up to date.

2022 - until now: making 3D assets as a freelance designer.
